My first post.
I am coming from repairing mostly MacBook Airs.
This is my first attempt at a Switch repair.
This unit won't turn on.
No water damage:
Drawing 40mA when plugged in.
I found one cap short near ALC5639.
This is a Realtek audio chip correct?
I am not sure if this is a related issue...
