    I've seen this one, and I might consider it, but there's the risk of short circuiting and it's not a permanent mod. Thanks anyways.

    Is it possible to bridge two pads with only solder/wire to enter RCM mode at all, or not?

    Is it possible to bridge pads 7 & 10 using solder/wire rather than a surface-mount 0805 10k resistor to enter RCM? Side-effects, e.g. the joycon being always detected in wireless mode?
