Thanks for all the responses. So far so good. I was able to move my wife's save data over to the switch 2, and I took extra care to ONLY transfer save data for games we own. On both the clean sysnand of the hacked switch, and on the switch 2, I took the time to insert the cartridge for every...
So basically I had my v1 switch since launch and modded it as soon as I found out and read that it was mostly safe to do with the right steps. Since you can't go online with a modded switch anyway I blocked Nintendo servers and just never tried to go online anymore anyway until I found out about...
The only clown around here is......*sigh* me  To be fair, I wasn't planning to get a new nintendo console which was why I locally backed up my saves because I got tired of playing on a watered down system when I saw I could play them in 4K at better framerates on my PC. As for my wife...
Guess I'm just spoiled by Steam and my 20 year Cloud saves still existing. Could have swore PS3 having something like that back in the day as well, but a google search indicated no, lol.
My wife and I have 300+ save files in zelda, animal crossing, stardew valley. I kept them when I moved away...
Recently purchased a switch 2 for my wife and kids after moving away from Nintendo due to steam deck and a switch 1 that died due to power fault. I assumed our cloud saves would still be there after all this time, only to find nothing exists for either account since we haven't used them in...

"Maag No'rah" Shrine...
I was referring to the pads on the microusb pinouts. I'm pretty sure that part is working fine though, as I would hazard a guess that the microusb pinouts are how it injects the payload. Also, following the trace further up goes directly to the chip above it, which is even smaller than the pads...
Thank you for the help. Yeah I don't even know why but the #2 is the only one where I soldered to the backside. Should not be too difficult to solder to the front. I will give it a shot and let you know if that makes a difference. As for the mess of wires, I have double checked to the picture...
Thank you for the explanations. I sort of figured thats what it refers to, as the description is self explanatory. Ive attached a few screenshots of my admittedly noob attempts. I've worked on soldering for several years from time to time on personal projects. Components never this tiny, though...
Hello. I recently did the mod with a Trinket M0 and have a question. I noticed on the info screen that while joycon and vol optioned are enabled, the "USB voltage" something (sorry im not in front of the device at the moment) said could not find or not enabled. Would this be referring to the USB...
