    Makes sense. My TV doesn't have component inputs, so maybe the RGB to hdmi converter I use just isn't as good as the one in the Wii U.

    Thank you for the suggestions. Unfortunately, I don't notice much of a visual improvement with those settings enabled. I'm surprised you say that original Wii looks better because at least on my tv, the colors look significantly better on the vWii over hdmi.

    Sorry for the confusion - when I said they appeared stretched, I meant when I set them to 4:3 aspect ratio and the TV was set to 16:9.
