Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

This may be a bit of a silly question. I don't put a single screw back in to check picofly's operation. This means the picofly board is suspended in the air by the flex cable. The picofly board's ground is not connected. Is there any problem with this? Also, how far do you put the parts back...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

I think it's a great technique! Thank you again for letting me know the measurements! May I ask you some more questions? The measured values of points A, C, and D on my Switch Lite are around 750. However, point B cannot be measured. do you think this is normal? I tried re-soldering the flex...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

ah. . Thank you for your important advice. I think everything you say is correct. Fortunately, my Switch Lite seems to be booting and alive in OFW. It seems that I installed the CPU flexible cable (FPC) in the wrong position. I placed it too high. The chip next to SP2 is present, but it appears...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

thank you for your reply. :) The solder on DAD0 doesn't look good, but I've corrected it nearly 7 times so far, and all of them were "=* D0 is not connected". I have never seen the picofly boot screen (no sd). I will leave a photo of the area I worked on. It's the x5 zoom on my smartphone...

    17.0.1 update picofly not booting

Hello. This is exactly the post for me. I recently installed picofly on my Switch Lite. It seems like there was probably no problem with the soldering, but it boots up in OFW after the same error code [=*D0 is not connected]. When I checked, the system version of my Switch Lite was 17.0.0. This...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Hello. My Switch Lite is also having the same symptoms. I always get the error LED "=* D0 is not connected". I fixed all the solder points including DAD0, but the error did not go away. After blinking, it will start in OFW.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Hello everyone on the forum. I received picofly (to Lite) the other day. I started working on it right after that, but I failed because I didn't have the micro soldering skills. Space is very limited around DAT0 and it was a time of patience. Fortunately, this Switch Lite will start up in OFW...
