I'm on Linux, but I've been using wiifuse to mount the ISO. It allows you to browse the filesystem... but took a bit of effort to get working in the first place.
I was under the impression that wbfs's makehbc function would generate the dols needed. I haven't tried it, but that's what I got out of the readme. I'll give it a shot tonight.

No, the drive won't "pop-up" on your desktop as a device, but you can still access it from the devices folder. It's not a drag-drop operation. You need to read the wbfs readme. It has all of the commands you'll need to use.
WBFS binary from this thread was the culprit - possible problem with compilation... (can't say for sure).
