Hacking USB Loader GX
Hey guys, i've FINALLY got v36 rev 10 cios installed and working, had some troubles but ah well... Im on Version 3.3E and using that dvd backup loader.. I want to change the an ext hdd and this usb loader, do i just download it, pop it in the apps folder and fire away, or do i need to change...- tikka250

So i have downloaded Custom IOS Installer (v36 rev 10), i have homebrew already installed, i popped the cIOS36_rev10-Installer.dol in the apps folder on my sd card.... Ok, im really ripping hairs out now... All this info is too much to bear..... I've googled and searched and everything.... I've got Homebrew and all that, haven't played with the "ios" or "cios" stuff yet. I launch the loader and its telling me i need Cios249... This is the part i dont...- tikka250

I finally modeled and 3d printed the new HDD cages I need in order to build my 2nd NAS. Original ones don't fit the mounting holes on the hdds I'm using. Been sitting on this project for over 2 years smfh -

Also another 70TB going in the front mount drive bays of this server. 182tb raw, going to probably use a zfs RAID-Z3 for 3 parity disks, so 140TB usable

I could claw back 14tb by only doing 2 parity disks but I feel like with 13 disks in the RAID I'd be kind of pushing my luck on rebuild time if I encounter a disk failure
