    okay yes i do have that disk, but so far using smash gets me the same result as not using it well in that case maybe i simply have been getting multiple bad dumps. I'll try chaos site and let you know what happens

    umbra site, the most recent download i got didn't include any updates, at least on the outside end. it could be in one of the games folders as you said but i wouldn't know since i have no idea which file it'd actually be

    apologies, and thanks for actually trying to help. there were updates that came with it, but i deemed them unimportant and didn't use them after reading somewhere that the updates basically just make it so you have to boot using smash mode.     I haven't applied any updates. Neither mii maker nor Smash mode works for me either way it freezes at the title screen

    This has become something like an age old issue. Loadiine will not boot mario kart 8 no matter what I try. I've tried re-downloading it from different sources downloading different regions of the game, using different versions of loadiine, booting in smash or mii maker, but I always get the same...

    Looked over everything, tried even more things I have absolutely no idea what's wrong the only thing I could guess is that since my region is off (Files I have are EUR while my console is USA) its causing it to freeze up. But according to the compatibility list EUR MK8 should work fine on USA...

    Then what about me though. I have a copy of smash and I've tried booting it in smash bros mode. Still freezes on boot.

    Running loadiine on latest wii u update (5.5.1). No matter what I do MK8 always freezes on boot. I make it to the initial title screen and then the game freezes the second you start to hear a kart starting. I've tried going back to prior builds of loadiine, booting it in smash bros mode...
