    Wow this thread has really grown :) In case anybody is wondering about the reliability of this mod, I've been carrying my AGB-101 in my bag everyday for around 7 months now, and it still works perfectly :) So how do these Glass screen covers look? I'm really interested in a few of them

    Sorry to hear you aren't happy with yours, maybe your screen is dimmer than usual? Anyhow here is where I soldered mine to increase the brightness a bit..

    I just finished two more of these gameboys. I found out that there is another solder point, it makes the screen brighter. It's now a smidgen brighter than the Sp+ on it's default setting

    The Ags-101 has two different models, I'm not sure why, but there are. If you connect a screen from one ags-101 to the board of the other type you get weird lines on the screen, and the screen is washed out

    I decided to make a quick video comparing the AGS-101 and what I like to call the AGB-101 @Constantgamer, I'm not sure if the screen will work with the backlight off, but even if it did, I don't think you'll be able to see a thing

    You won't be able to see without the light on. As for the brightness control, maybe somebody with better modding skills than me could attempt it. I would love a brightness control I just used a basic tutorial to do this, so I have no clue on how to add the control That battery compartment isn't...

    Here are some HQ pics. I'm very happy with this console. I'm just hoping it'll be as reliable as the original. I remember reading once that the codename for the Sp before release was Special Project, and that might be what the SP stands for

    No problem guys, I'll take the photos tomorrow then. I'll use an actual camera this time haha This mod is totally worth it guys, I am very happy with it. If you've seen an SP+ in action on the lower setting, you pretty much know what to expect here

    I just asked a friend who lives in Hong Kong to order it for me The brightness is just a smidgen lower than that of the lowest setting on the Ags-101, and there is no brightness control. Sorry about the pics guys, I'll take some better pics this weekend. Any requests?

    So got the kit yesterday, and just finished installing it. it looks awesome, the brightness is pretty much equal to the Gba SP+ on the lower setting. I'll post some pics in a bit

    I also have the tutorial to install the kit, for both the 32 and 40 pin pcb if anybody wants it. It's in Chinese though , but it has pictures Just for interest sake, I found out that this guy makes these cables by hand, and he can only make 2 per day
