    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

I would like to report a bug. When updating using Configurable USB Loader on my HDD, it will typically try to install the downloaded update to my SD card instead of my USB drive. How come, even when I have no SD card in the Wii, it chooses to install to the SD card instead of USB, where the cfg...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

After doing some play testing, Ive found v5 glitches with hard drive read problems if you leave it idle on Guitar Hero 5. Like on the Wii strap message, if you leave it sitting, it will freeze. If you play a song, and then go on to the next one, it will glitch. So i recommend v4 of 223 with a...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

To get that working, install v5 of 222 as normal (38 default) then install v5 on 223 merge 37, and then if you want, you can install 224 merge 57 (some say faster loading times, most games work with it, i tried mario kart and it does seem a bit faster). Oh and to get Guitar Hero 5 working...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

Note to devs... (oggzee and Dr. Clipper) Waninkoko has posted on his twitter he changed the ECHI module... "Note for developers. EHCI module device name has been renamed from /dev/usb/ehc to /dev/usb2 so... prepare your tools for rev18 ;-)" Source: http://twitter.com/hackinblack

    Hacking cMIOS rev5 out now

I'm currently thinking that for USB loading, maybe cMIOS isnt the answer... However i think a best option might just be to modify gamecube games to look like wii games, or be modified in memory to look like one. Because if you look at the files in WiiScrubber, a lot of the same material is...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

I figured out the issue with my games freezing, like the Mario Kart Wii video I posted a few days ago. I redownloaded Mario Kart (I own the disc, I just dont have it here at college with me...) and copied it to the hard drive. It now works properly, leading me to believe that half of the games...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

I believe Mario Kart in particular is corrupt, maybe others are as well... I burned a copy of the Mario Kart iso straight off of my hard drive, and it has the exact same issue as loading through the hard drive had. Either that or an IOS is not working properly...at least thats what i hope...

    Hacking Configurable USB Loader

Thanks for the NTFS support! I made the switch from WBFS a couple weeks ago and everything went well... until recently. Lately ive been having random freezes as the loader stopped reading from the hard drive. I would attribute this to the hard drive spinning down, but its a Toshiba 250GB and...

Hacking New USB Loader 1.3 Released

I can confirm this works! THANK YOU wiiNinja! I was afraid I would have to delete all my isos and start all over again...cause SSBB got corrupted, which is one of the most important games on my HDD. You just have to use that tool to delete the corrupted isos, then reinstall them using any app...

    Hacking Got 2 backups working

OH MY GOD!!! I just discovered an even easier way to run Star Wars: The Force Unleashed! Wanikoko's MenuPatcher v1 works flawlessly with the game, cutting load times of the Backup Loader in half, and using the Wii's own disc channel! All I did was use BrickBlocker and burn a 1:1 dvd, and...

    Hacking Error 361

I never can read the error message on my screen when I load the backup launcher and it fails...but there have been two reasons I have gotten error messages in the past: 1. Incorrect installation of IOS and CIOS - if the wrong CIOS is installed, or the DVDlib isnt installed, then the backup...

    Hacking wii backup loader

I also have the same dvd drive and have been experiencing problems! However, out of the four games I have tried to burn, I have managed to get Castlevania Judgment to work, after burning at 16x Memorex DVD+R with Alcohol 120%. I've heard the DVD's are part of the problem as well. It still...
