    I've got the NTSC version but it has a system upgrade on it and I'm on a PAL Wii. My Wii is already on system 3.4 so I don't care about upgrading I just want to make sure it won't brick my Wii. Has anyone tried it?

    To make it work with freeloader you don't need to do any patching on the NTSC ISO at all. Just burn the original ISO onto a disk, put the freeloader in the Wii first, then the PES ISO will play in a PAL Wii with no problems.

    Have you tried freeloader? I've seen reports this works with the US version and I know it works with the JAP version. The only issue is that it can cause problems if you connect via SCART.
