    Same as OP, I bought smash 4 today and it's asking for a system update. I'm on 5.3.2 and I've played smash on my console before.     My point was that until a week or so ago, the download manager was X'd out. Cyan said that holding down the power button might cause that, which makes sense because I had to do that to get out of the homebrew. Either way, I leave my wii unplugged so I'm not too worried about it.
