superfiege replied to the thread Oled mod gone wrong (cpu cap and pad missing).I dont know if there are any problems with the missing cap but you could try to install a single-mosfet intallation on sp1 or try a alternate backside mosfet isntallation (see picofly guide).

There are, but it means you'll have to remove the motherboard. on v1/v2/lite you can normally leave the motherboard attached while installing the modchip. Also, soldering on the cpu isn't that bad. If you have years of experience microsoldering...
