    If it boots fine to stock firmware (normal Switch), then chances are AutoRCM is not enabled. Sounds like you need a jig or other way to bridge the contact points on the right joy-con rail to boot into RCM. You can use a paperclip, but be careful about damaging the pins...

    Which model Switch? You said when you restart it "normally booted up to hekate" which would imply you have a modchip installed in the Switch. If that's the case, a jig wouldn't be necessary. We need some more info to properly help/troubleshoot.

    The yellow flashes are the error code. There are long flashes, =, and short flashes, *. Need to know the error code to determine what's wrong.

    A little isopropyl on the screen connector and ribbon cable and maybe some compressed/canned air might help. Otherwise yeah, could be the screen itself.

    Has anyone found documentation on the V6S on how to reset it using the consoles USB-C port? I'm interested in this but have only seen Sthetix's installation and he does not demonstrate that feature in the video (unless he's posted about it since then, haven't looked recently).

    The basic gist of it is I dumped the SK-Hynix in Hekate first onto microSD, swapped the Hynix with Samsung using hot air station and solder paste with stencil, booted back into Hekate and restored the Hynix dump to the Samsung.

    I have swapped an SK-Hynix with a Samsung no problem, same size 64GB and restored the dumped NAND from SK-Hynix onto the Samsung in Hekate.

    If by "**" you mean that you're seeing 2 short LED blinks, that is your RST point not connected (B point). I would definitely recheck all the diode readings for your solder points, specifically "B"
