Homebrew RELEASE [RELEASE] Amiga Emulator UAE4All2 for Switch

Thanks for this. I installed the latest version today and created my own NSP for SWOS (using a HDF of the 23/24 version) but when I load the game using the forwarder on the Switch there's a pretty significant performance hit. The game is super sluggish and the sound is very stuttery. However...

Does anyone have a bootable hdf of the 2016/17 SWOS Community Pack that doesn't crash at the end of the season please?

    Homebrew RetroArch Switch

Hi folks, sorry for asking this but has anyone had any joy running This is Football 1 and 2? I've got what I believe are solid .bin files, but each game crashes on me. TIF1 crashes just before starting a match (the load bar gets to about 85%), and TIF2 crashes during initial load (eternal black...

Homebrew RELEASE [RELEASE] Amiga Emulator UAE4All2 for Switch

Does this emulator give access to the "immediate blitters" option? I've had a lot of trouble in the past with Sensible World of Soccer's career mode until immediate blitters are enabled. Also, is it okay to use HDF format files with this? A lot of my games are stored as individual .hdfs so it...

    Hacking Nintendont

I was just asking a guy if he would help to convert 2x GCI saved game files over to RAW for me, as I noticed he helped another guy out in exactly the same way a few moments before. That's it. If you'd like more detail, Nintendont crashed when I tried to load my RAW file (from Dolphin) last...

    Hacking Nintendont

Jeepers. I was only asking because Vin did it for another guy 1 post before. I had a look at the OP, but the information is all over the place and I couldn't find exactly what I needed there. Sorry that this has upset you so much. Edit: This is what it says in the OP: • Method1 Rename the full...

These are .gci files that I'm asking to have converted to RAW, so I don't think it's appropriate.

    Hacking Nintendont

Hey Vin, would you be able to give me a hand with these two please? If anyone else is interested, they're 100% saves for Timesplitters 2, and Timesplitters: Future Perfect :) https://www.dropbox.com/s/6oryv0zghnfme4w/steve_ts2.GCI?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/fesk27o1jenaufr/steve_ts3.gci?dl=0

Nice one, thank you. I'm sure it is pretty easy, but it's quite hard to find detailed instructions on this kind of thing. I think the first post could be a lot more helpful! :)

    Hacking Nintendont

Cheers Pedro, I just found this too (in case anyone else needs help):- gci is a save raw is a memory card you need to insert the gci inside the raw, using the Dolphing memory card manager. Dolphin > tools > memory card manager Open the Raw memory card created by nintendont select Import GCI...

    Hacking Nintendont

I'm sorry to keep asking questions, but the first post on this thread is really hard to understand. I have a couple of .gci Gamecube saved games, and was wondering how I can use these with Nintendont. Any ideas?

Doh. I can't get Wind Waker to work at the mo. Nintendont freezes at Init CARD. I have v3.325 and IOS58. Maybe a bad ISO?

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
