Hardware Nintendo Switch battery not increasing.

Hello, I have changed both M92T36 USB-C Power Charging Control IC and BQ24193 chip. There are no shorted capacitors, even near PI3USB. The battery would only increase if the switch is fully turned off and the switch is plugged in, not in sleep mode or while it's on, which is inconvenient...

Hardware Nintendo Switch battery not increasing.

I bought a switch off ebay with a no display issue. I had to change the display FPC connector and also backlight FPC connector, now the switch displays no problem and also docks and everything. The problem is the battery's not increasing, it will show charging sign tho I tried OEM batteries...

Hardware Nintendo Switch no power, no charging, nothing.

So you're suggesting I should test cpu caps in ohm mode not in continuity mode, and check for something below 0.3ohm? Also the CPU will never be fried(unless you inject very high voltage to the board), it's only solder joints that get bridge underneath it no? I have 3 switches that I bought out...

Hardware Nintendo Switch no power, no charging, nothing.

But doesn't the cpu have low resistance and nearby capacitors would usually beep? And even if the cpu id fried wouldn't reballing it with a bga station solve the issue? Thank you

I have recently replaced the battery IC chip although they weren't any shorts around, with no success.. The switch doesn't turn on and stays in 0.46A .. Any ideas? Thank you

Hardware Nintendo Switch no power, no charging, nothing.

Oh sorry my bad. 0.46A , yeah the usb type c is probably okay, cause nearby capacitors read 5v and even on the backside lots of other complement do as well. Also one of the battery connectors reads 5v,I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong woth the charging port, and even if there was, the switch...

Hardware Nintendo Switch no power, no charging, nothing.

I've recently acquired a switch from ebay exploitable, but not turning in or anything. I have tried to replace the battery, plugged in my amp meter reads 0.20v without battery, 0.46v when the battery is hooked even if you leave it for 1hour. I have checked all known bad chips and nearby...

Hardware Switch with No Video (Neither Docked nor handheld mode)

Hello guys, After a long time I am updating this post with some news. So I have replaced the PI3USB chip on my motherboard and made sure it was soldered from every pin on the sides! Boy what a bunch of work it was! I am now getting no power, but my ampreader reads something like 0.60A when...

Hardware Switch with No Video (Neither Docked nor handheld mode)

Hello and thanks for your answer. So we're establishing that there are any issues with the motherboard, capacitors and IC are fine.. And we're focusing on the USB C port instead.. Okay then I'll check the pins carefully and let you know what happened for sure.

Hardware Nintendo switch won't dock to tv

Hello, I just opened up the switch, tested all the nearby capacitors to the chip you've mentioned, they seem to be fine. The filter chockes tho I tested them they have continuity from the capacitor to both sides accordingly, if that makes any sens. When I test continuity on each filter both...

Hardware Switch with No Video (Neither Docked nor handheld mode)

Hello I have finally had the chance to open up my motherboard and check my switch.. I did what you told me and no capacitor is shorted or grounded on both side, the motherboard looks new tho, I don't see any sign of a discoloring on any component. Could it be the usb-C port? I mean it's...
