    So would this one actually log stuff? I don't seem to see any logs for usbloadergx anywhere. Is there some specific location? What's the name of the log supposed to be?

    No dice. I think it has something to do with usbloadergx specifically because the sound which plays when you initially select a disk plays through the black screen until it finishes. Black screen remains as well as the player 1 light on the wiimote.

    Update: So @GreyWolf I formated the drive for fat32 with 32kb allocations and moved my gc games back onto it. I ran it and it is still giving me a black screen for longer than 10 minutes. Any other ideas or steps I can take to give more info?

    What do you mean partitioning? You aren't supposed to partition USB drives, most of them get corrupted (I know this from experience and several flashdrives) Is there something I've misunderstood? Furthermore, I didn't think you needed to partition for gamecube games... I hate to be so needy but...

    So Everything is on the SD, except for the games, which are on a usb drive which was formated to fat32 as soon as I pulled it out of the packaging. No partitioning outside of the formatting. In addition, I searched in the root of the SD card, apps folder, usbloadergx, nintendont, and the games...
