    I can't explain this but I do know when I ripped call of duty 4 remastered version to usb, it was like 80+gb but after I turned it into a .pkg it was about 40gbs or so.

    Wait a second. I have an external usb 500gb hard drive in its own enclosure. Plug in usb nearest to blue ray disc drive and it dumps to it fine. I’m using the al-azif PC web host method if that matters. Make sure you are fat 32.

    Good point but right now the game I had partially dumped is not showing any files on my exfat hard drive but I did get progress notifications of copying update. That is why I figured it had temp files. Not end of world though if I need to finish copying the disc so it get rid of hard drive files.

    If I am using the dumping program on a disc and then decide to cancel it, I believe the PS4 copies the files temporarily to internal hard drive before copying to external hard drive. Is there a way to delete that folder game content without having to reformat the system?
