    Guess what? I'm still having IOS problems. I'm trying IOS236 again... Still no change. When I load the disc in neogamma, I get a disc ID error (bad dump/burn?) and a "no cIOS + DVD-R" message... I'm about ready to give up... Oh and the error I get in the syscheck is: "Exception (DSI) ocurred!"

    That's exactly what I am trying to test. I looked up the hardware changes for the serial #'s, and it :should: be able to run the backups. I just need the syntax for the copy command to test the copy.

    I have a disc image now, split into two parts, but I keep getting "the syntax of the command is incorrect" when I try to use windows command prompt's copy function. Here is the synatax I tried: (files are in the root of the c drive) C:\Windows\system32>copy /b C:/(part0 iso) + (part1 iso)...

    CleanRip is running and seems to be going well. All I really wanted was to be able to dump the image. Will I be able to burn the image in case of failure of the original disc, though? EDIT: To be more specific, will the wii read the backed up disc? Or do I need another special channel?

    If it's not built to do it, then no. You need plenty of programming skill and the source code of the VC interface (non-distributable) and the source code for the emu... So unless you're highly experienced at hacking to beat the intrusion prevention of VC... no.

It said 27 IOS's are able to be tested or something like that. It commenced the test of each IOS... and I encountered an "exception" message...
