    ez flash technology awful.

Is there any reason for being THAT toxic not supporting your posts with some facts? Is the purpose to just spill out your anxiety while having some bad experience? I've been using this flashcart for some time and had some problems with some aspects. But throwing down some emotional phrases here...

    Hacking EZFlash Omega Skins

Yes, it does support official 1.06 FW7 kernel as long as you have a "definitions.xml" file with correct offset addresses for that firmware. Images used are bitmaps (however exported in a compressed png format), so they usually are of a fixed size, considering they are just number of pixels...

    Hacking EZFlash Omega Skins

I personally prefer the slightly modified stock fw by veikkos as I don't bother playing platforms other than GBA/GB/GBC. And for GB experience EZ-Flash Junior is a better choice as it has no lags and save issues and works with the original GB/GBC. However I'm happy there are people making other...

Hacking New Theme for EZ-Flash Omega!

Well let's. Blue title background doesn't match high-contrast icons & red font. Too many different colours, as a result skin looks untidy, more like a Windows 95 with 16 colours, looks outdated for 2020, which also applies to folders (gradients) and files icons. "Image not found" icon looks...

    Hacking EZFlash Omega Skins

Presumably text colours and other elements are determined by "ezkernel_Colors Map (until dialog is developed).png". In other words, replacing the default image with a modified 1x10 column with altered colurs will change the skin elements colours as follows. Each of 10 pixels are somehow used...

    Hacking EZFlash Omega Skins

    1. Me neither. I personally prefer a skin named "Clean". I think you can easily swap graphics on that fw by Stereophonick with UniversalSkinner. However you will need to find out its offsets first (these are the addresses, where image start is within the binary ezkernel.bin file). For me it's...

    Hacking EZFlash Omega Skins

Seems like you need to hold R-button while turning on the console and install the fw with updated graphics to your EZ-Flash Omega cart, not just copy it to sd-card. The name of file should be ezkernel.bin for it to be recognized properly.

    Hacking EZFlash Omega Skins

Could you please post an updated definitions.xml for the latest K1.06 FW7 unofficial that is mentioned here? Or could you explain how to find correct offsets within a compiled .bin file and add those to definitions.xml with a correct CRC marker (specifically for some reason I cannot force the...

Hacking Update Goomba in EZ-Flash Omega

Wow, thank you very much! Looks like Goomba Color emulator developer Dwedit really solved the 32K save issue in Goomba Color (used in Pokemon Gold for instance). And looks like this updated custom kernel you mention that includes updated Goomba Color DOES solve the save issue that persisted in...

Hacking EZ-FLASH OMEGA kernel 1.05 released

Thank you very much for your hard work! If there was any possibility to address some irregular issues with saving features mentioned in this forum (GBC saves and also some of users mentioned GBA saves corruption), I would definitely had much more reasons to recommend my friends Omega over other...

    Hacking EZ-FLASH OMEGA kernel 1.04 fw6 released

Sadly enough, OMEGA disappoints in current state as it corrupts saved games of GBC games (and apparently GBA saved games, as mentioned in other topics here though I personally cannot confirm this). And this doesn't depend on sdcard I use or file system or cluster size. It also disappoints me...
