    ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Horizons duplicate mail

    Hi, the solution was to copy in an older version of the postbox.dat and postboxHeader.dat files into the villager folder from a saved, unmodified backup. It has to be YOUR postbox.dat and postboxHeader.dat, otherwise the game will freak out and think the data is corrupted. Good luck!
