    Sorry to hear that :( Losing progress on big projects is the worst. I've always been interested in modifying text in games like this, and I'd be interested in playing around with a similar concept here. If you don't mind me asking, what tool (if any) were you using to update the dialog/events?

    Rebuilt from scratch. Luckily, on the 9th attempt, it just sort of worked. It honestly improves the game dramatically, and I'm beyond happy I stuck with it. Of note, I did need to use the instructions posted by 283423947hf.525720 above since the final step failed when using cmd.exe.

    Well, spent about 4 hours trying to get this to work yesterday, but I must be doing something wrong.
