    lmao nevermind I just had to refresh my Checkpoint. Sorry for being such an idiot lol. Everything is fully restored.

    So I booted up the game, and sure enough, it was wiped. But my backup still exists in Checkpoint’s files. However, the app won’t show me that the backup exists and won’t let me restore it. How can I manually restore my progress?

    Well I just asked this because since I downloaded a new copy, I was wondering if it was possible that booting into the game for the first time would overwrite the Tomodachi Life Checkpoint file and get rid of my backup.

    Sorry for sounding paranoid, but if I boot up the game and my save is deleted, Checkpoint will just let me restore my save? Checkpoint won’t delete my backup or anything since the old game is gone? I really don’t want to lose all my progress.
