    I wouldn't bother upgrading to the patch, to be honest, it's mostly glitch fixes. Won't stop you finishing the game (and you may want some of the glitches like proliferating mech weapons).

    No cheat for that I am aware of. But yeah maybe useful, just need to make sure you do them in order or (I hazard to guess) you will break the game.

    Fair enough. All I can say is it feels smoother, and the various FPS monitors are indicating it's 60. I can run it at 60/120, but then various other things don't work smoothly. So don't mind the minor sacrifice.
