    Seta GX fork

@MeXen Maybe the issue is that you are using a Super Nintendo controller and the buttons aren't map the same. I'm using a GameCube controller and the L+Y combo works for me. You have to press L first and keep it pressed down when you press Y. Do you have a Gamecube controller to test it...

    Seta GX fork

There is no need to be so defensive. Here are a few pictures in 240p. Notice that the menu and the FPS counter are scaled up. https://i.postimg.cc/dVzTPQJk/IMG-20260801-235337.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/nh6QbVns/IMG-20260801-235429.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/4xrhk4Xn/IMG-20260801-235458.jpg

    Seta GX fork

It works for me. I'm using a CRT. You have to do the button combo in the menu and check that it says 240p: ON. Then you EXIT the emulator and load it again. You should see everything scaled up. Letters are gigantic and you can't see the bottom of the screen. Then the games run at 240p.

Homebrew Emulator Wii64 Beta 1.3 with WiiFlow compatibility

Congrats on the new release. I haven't tested all my usual games to see if there are any improvements or regresions, but I did try the 240p mode and I have some comments to do about that. First of all, many thanks for including it and make it accesible in the menu. It seems its implementation...

Seta GX / Sega Saturn Emulator Wii (Test & Compatible List) beta v0.3.1 - Evoca / fadedled

It's working for me with the old folder structure (I didn't know I was supposed to change it). I'm using a Wii: SD:/vgames/Saturn/ Putting the blanck 240p.txt in the app folder (in the SD too) also worked. I've have only tried Sega Rally and I think 240p gives a little extra push to...

    Homebrew ioQuake3-Wii

I already deleted all the files from the SD card and copied again the pak files. I also deleted the app, downloaded it again, and started it as if it was the very first time. But the weirdest thing is that I'm getting the same error even after restarting everything with the 1.0 build, which has...

    Homebrew ioQuake3-Wii

Hi @Mayo1990 , I finally had time to test the last 1.1 build and I get an error right before starting a map, when it's loading the assests: "VW_POWERPC COMPILER ERROR: NOT ENOUGH MEMORY" (see attached image). I reinstalled the previous 1.0 build, which was working just fine (I even posted some...

    Ooops... It's working flawlessly now.

    Homebrew ioQuake3-Wii

Here are some photos and details about the last release played on a PAL Wii in a PAL CRT TV with RGB. With the original ioQuake3-Wii.dool you get proper aspect ratio when displayed at 16:9, at least ingame. But, as I said in a previous message, the UI is cut a little at top and bottom. Resizing...

    Homebrew ioQuake3-Wii

Release 1.0 is finally running on my Wii! All the previous releases didn't even load the menu (except that custom build yo sent me). I have only tried the very first map and the main ioQuake3 dool. Performance is excellent. I'll test the others dools and more maps and share more impressions the...

    Homebrew Not64 Update

Hi @Extrems, I've encountered one weird graphical behaviour in Perfect Dark if you run it in 240p mode. It isn't happening if you play in 480i. I'm refering to the settings.cfg video modes, not the Perfect Dark Hi-res toggle (that doesn't make a difference). Strangely, it only happens in...

    Homebrew ioQuake3-Wii

It is still not working for me. I'm getting the same DSI exception: https://i.postimg.cc/WzvWnWG2/IMG-20260524-232411.jpg I have tried all the different *.dol available. All except for the 'OpenArena' ones give me that DSI exception. The 'OpenArena' take me back to the homebrew channel menu...

    Homebrew ioQuake3-Wii

Sadly it isn't working for me. I'm trying version 0.9.0. After a few seconds of a black screen I get some vertical lines of random color, then an Excepction (DSI): https://i.postimg.cc/Xqp6m6Vj/IMG-20260523-213810.jpg I'm using a PAL Wii from launch day. I have tried two different SD cards...

    Homebrew Not64 Update

Thank you. I was able to test it for a while and playing from the USB drive works fine. No more 'Exception (dsi)' after twenty or so minutes. I did encounter one weird behaviour, although if fixed itself and I can no longer reproduce it. The first time I started a game (in this case Super Mario...

    All Wii Arcade Emulators

Sorry to rebump such and old topic, but I think it's the best place to ask. I'm a total noob when it comes to arcade emulation. I don't have any experience either with PC or Wii. For the last few days I've been reading and it's absolutely intimidating. When you think you start understanding...
