    awesome, i replaced the menu file w/ the one from the official site, and it fired right up. It was an indeed a corrupted menu folder. Thank you all very much! my niece says she would hug you if she could.

    ok thanks for the response guys, ive been down w/ the flu and havnt had a chance to try anything you suggested. I am using the files from the .cn website. btw, not saying i did everything right, but i did do the patching process for ysmenu.
