    Was wondering if I could just use another one (essential.exefs I mean) that I already have from another dump I made off a different system I own. Is it possible? I don't ever think I'll ever brick but I want to be sure to have the correct files in order to get my custom firmware back...

    Okay, so here's the deal I already have FBI installed in place of the Health and Safety logo/game/application. I have the newest version of FBI installed somewhere else on my 3DS. I'm able to install .cia files effortlessly I just wonder if I need to do anything else that the new guide instructs...

    Okay I got B9Strap to boot I'm now on Sys 4.1.0-8U But! It's telling me I gotta update. Is it safe @Oleboy555 Also, I think there's a little something wrong with my 3ds I have 3 black icons lingering underneath my System Settings Like 3 game titles that aren't titles, they're just filled in...

    Was reading a bit too fast my bad I shouldn't have even asked that last question. Here's a question though will I be able to run "new" games on this 3ds once I mod it? Meaning titles that have just come out? Edit: Just realized updating means I'll be on the newest firmware and they will work. lol

    @CrispyCola I do not currently have any hacks installed on this particular 3ds I was just unsure as to where to start I've got another 3ds that runs games flawlessly just hoping for the same with this one.

    My only objective is to get .cia formatted games to be installed through FBI and run no problem. I have no need for anything else, i already loaded my 128GB memory card and have the .cia files ready to go...please some guidance would do me well. I don't know where to go from here.
