    I just figured it out myself too. I finished the game on my New 3DS but I only have CFW on my Old 3DS. I forgot that MHG doesn't save on the cartridge so I had no save files on it. I feel so stupid now for not remembering that. You have been a huge help! Thanks a lot! Fingers crossed it works...

    I have finished the game on the first save file. I also think that the cartridge is inserted properly. What do you mean with that? I'm a bit confused lol Edit: Wait a second, I think I know what's wrong. Let me try something. I'll let you know in a sec.

    When I use MHGSV I get this message: "Error opening MHG's ExtData! Error opening MHG's Extra Data! Press start to exit."

    Thanks for the reply! I googled a bit and found a save manager, svdt and a MHgen save manager but neither of them work. My game cartridge must really hate me because all of them just give me an error and say they can't load it... Is there anything else I can do?
