    For anyone who was having the same problem as me (look over previous pages), i have managed to get it working now. I had to install an old LG DVD burner i have, this one allowed me to change the book type to DVD ROM, and it worked perfectly. My Lite-on was not allowing me to change the book...

    Ive been reading up on the internet, and others have spoke of the same thing happening when they tried to change the book type, the conclusion the have come to is that the DVD writer, or its firmware, does not support changing the book type. But i dont no how true this is, hoping i will not have...

    I also tried using nero, but i get the same results, it burns as a DVD+R instead of DVD-ROM, + i tried updating my DVD writers firmware through device manager, and it tells me i have the latest. Really stuck here
