    But isn't a custom xci just that? All packed together? I have no plans to install anything right now, I am happy with playing the custom xci with sxos. What I wanted to know is for the future in case I do one day, will it be possible to extract all the components and install them individually...

    This will actually work?? I thought if ignore firmware version doesn’t work when you install with tinfoil for example it means the game is encrypted with higher keys or something and you can’t get around needing the higher firmware to run the game.

    I am on 6.1 and tried to install nsp of feudal alloy even with ignore firmware version it doesn’t load. Is this the first game that requires 6.2? Or maybe there are others but I haven’t encountered them yet?

    I’ve seen people simply quote this guide but although it looks like the 3ds guide we all used and loved it seems to have been abandoned. There is nothing pased 3.0 and the latest firmware on this guide is 5.02! Did it move to some other URL?

    I installed this program but I can't get some info to show up. On my nsps it gives me the firmware but it leaves blank the game revision and master key revision. Any thing I did wrong?

    Sorry to add to an old thread. Just wanted to tell you I installed those games usng tinfoil and they work great. I will use your list to see what else I can install on 4.1. Question.. Did you make up this list yourself with trial and error? Because its the only list I see with required system...

    Do all games install with sx os? I read about using tinfoil to instal NSPs that require a higher firmware to work on a lower switch. Is that still true? Or did Sx os add that option in 1.5?

    Is the exfat update on a game cart? So if I take a phycal cart of kirby which is 4.1 and put it in my 4.1 switch, stay offline amd insert an exfat formatted sd card would it install the update? I have a feeling this would be too easy and someone would have brought it up already if it worked...

    Ok thanks. Yes I just want to stay on 4.1 but with exfat support and not having to boot autorcm. So with both these methods the exfat support is permanent? Or if I boot into regular os it's gone? Also if I decide to one day update to 5.1 oficially will I have any issues?

    Thanks for the info! This will come in handy. I recently got the Sx Os (I ordered it back in june but production delays I guess) I split my xci's over 4gig to be able to continue staying on 4.1 without exfat, but what happens with NSPs over 4 gig? How do they install? I tried to search but...

    I didnt know you can start a game that requires a higher firmware! I have sx os and 4.1 . If I install the nsp of hollow knight it will launch? I was staying away for any games that required higher since I did not want to update.
