    Well, when you make your emunand, you use your sysnand as a base iirc. In that case, the save gets transferred clearly, but it's kind of a one way trip and a lot of time to sink into it.

    The problem is that after the fuses get burned from upgrading to 9.0, you can't get back to 8.1, even with a NAND backup. It's a hardware thing, not software at that point.

    I want to say first of all that this project is awesome and I'd really love to see it finished one day. As far as this page in the thread, I was really surprised to see models being worked on. Very cool! It'd be interesting to work with those eventually.
