Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Really impresive, this switch is asking for a clear/transparent case!

Thank you, do you know the resistor value? Edit: I found it in a different post, the value for both resistors is 4.7k ohm 0201.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Hi everyone, I need some help. While installing the modchip on a V2, I accidentally ripped a pad (I think is gone, see pic), specifically the RST pad and now the switch is not turning on (no screen, no sound). Someone knows if it's fixable bridging the traces with the cap? Thanks!

Dumb question, can GND be soldered to the CPU/Ram metal frame? This way, the wire can be shorter and helps the pico to stay in place.

If I'm not wrong, both middle pads can be used. So try to use the other one.

Yeah, It's a bit annoying, I plan to get a microscope soon. Anyway, I can take really close images from my phone (see example, it's the rst pin), but for this project I consider microscope a must have.

I managed to install it with a magnifying glass and used the microscope of my phone for checking the soldering (it needs to be really close, so I can't use it while I solder).

Thanks for sharing, that means I can use the middle big D pin and the medium sized S? I see many S and D pins and I'm not sure if I can use any of them. It would be much easier to solder for me.

    Picofly AIO Thread

Hi, do you have any tip for soldering the mosfet? I'm finding very difficult to solder with my iron, because those pins are too small. Do I need a heat gun? Thank you.

Any tip or trick for soldering the mosfet? I find it really tiny and I'm struggling with my iron. Currently I can't get HWFLY's flex.

If I'm not wrong, It's possible to run Hekate and Linux/Android ATM. The problem is we don't have the firmware for running Atmosphere.
