Hacking Slow loading home icons after cfw?

Well believe it or not it fixed it. I restored to my 4.5 fw nand, did a system format and formatted the sd card to 32k. Followed the cfw github guide very carefully and only left the things needed on the sd. Everything seems to be running smoothly now. No idea what caused it the first time...

One of the other folders it says to keep is 'hblauncher' I have a folder called 'hblauncherloader' that contains 'OLD-11-0-0-33-EUR' I assume the guide is talking about this folder unless i've deleted one just called 'hblauncher' ?

Lovely thanks I'll stick that back on the sd card root, I assume it has something to do with bootting the homebrew launcher.

Sorry and thanks, just a little new to everything, that let me boot into the system and it shows that it is my old firmware on 4.5fw, so now I should be able to do a nand restore and not keep al9h this time right and i'll be back to stock 4.5fw? auto https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki...

Yeah I chose to keep it this time just to make sure I was restoring to the correct nand. Once I know that nand is correct (4.5fw) I'll do another system restore this time without keeping a9lh and doing a full format of the system and sd card. Is it safe to assume this nand backup is the one that...

Ok the restore is done, it says 'an old unsupported FIRM has been detected. Copy firmware.bin in /luma to boot' I assue this is because my nand backup was actually 4.5, anyone know what I need to do now?

Ohhhhhhhhhh I see, no I was still holding start that's why I was booting into hourglass because that's called 'start_hourglass9' I deleted the hourglass9 bin now and I am out at the moment with no way to get it back onto the ds unless there is a qr code for it somewhere. I've renamed the...

Hacking Go back to complete stock from cfw and a9lh

I've been trying to install decrypt9 but I can't seem to get it to boot into it. I've put the dcrypt.bin file into my luma/payloads folder on the sd card but it wil just boot into hourglass still and if I delete the hourglass file in the same folder it will just boot to the home menu?

Well I downloaded decrypt 9 and put the file in the luma payloads folder but it still boots into the hourglass and when I delete the hourglass file it just boots straight into the home menu:/

Hacking Go back to complete stock from cfw and a9lh

I tried doing this today but the only option is to do a nand restore with the 'keep a9lh' option. There is no other options
