Homebrew noled - Screen-off overlay to prevent OLED burn-in & save battery (all Switch models)

Oh how did you get my reply :glare: When I realized that it only applies on the overlay screen, I edited my post quickly to remove that. :D All good! :)

Homebrew sys-ticon - A sysmodule replacing in qlaunch icons, titles, publishers and display versions

This is working very well with 21.2.0. Thank you masagrator! I've missed sys-tweak for vertical icons since way back on FW 19.x.x. As mentioned, you need to play around and find themes that work, or can be auto-patched by the nxthemesinstaller to maybe work for the most part...

    DBI asking for prod.keys

Not a helpful post, but just wanted to say I also have this 'issue'...not really an issue though, plenty of alternative workarounds. I'm in the same boat, I have a Switch Lite that was internal NAND corrupted due to overclocking, and I had no prodinfo or any backups at all. Also used the NAND...

Hardware The SUPER5 OLED screen mod for the Switch Lite uses a 1080p screen and stretches the Switch Lite's 720p signal to fit.

Alright, last shot of my Stock Switch Lite LCD unit before I fully disassemble it for modding. Super5 OLED top left, Stock Switch Lite LCD panel bottom right. Both panels at max brightness.

Hardware The SUPER5 OLED screen mod for the Switch Lite uses a 1080p screen and stretches the Switch Lite's 720p signal to fit.

@Smith9527 I feel like there is no noticeable difference in battery over stock LCD. But this will depend on your brightness level. I feel like my battery drains faster, but I've been using a very high brightness level because it makes the colors pop so nicely. I would say wait for other...

Hardware The SUPER5 OLED screen mod for the Switch Lite uses a 1080p screen and stretches the Switch Lite's 720p signal to fit.

I think I've shared enough pics to get my point across  I was trying to bait you guys into zooming into my photos, and you fell for it. No one plays their Switch Lite zoomed in or under a microscope. When you're playing your Switch Lite like a normal person, you won't notice any...

Hardware The SUPER5 OLED screen mod for the Switch Lite uses a 1080p screen and stretches the Switch Lite's 720p signal to fit.

So it can't look sharper because it's smoother and less jagged? 🤔 My fault for misusing the word sharper 😂 Let's try that again. Super5 OLED 'appears' smoother, crispier, and less jagged than the stock LCD. 1741224974 This is what I consider 'sharp' B-) Actual difference in 'sharpness' is...

Hardware The SUPER5 OLED screen mod for the Switch Lite uses a 1080p screen and stretches the Switch Lite's 720p signal to fit.

I just tried taking pics of text but unfortunately my camera isn't good enough to pick up the details. Wish I had a macro lens :) To my eyes, the Super5 OLED is superior in sharpness and colors while playing in a realistic scenario. However under a microscope, Stock LCD panel will have more...

Hardware The SUPER5 OLED screen mod for the Switch Lite uses a 1080p screen and stretches the Switch Lite's 720p signal to fit.

I know what you mean (from my experience with jaggies on PC games growing up)...I'm just saying on a small 5.5" screen, when you move back to a normal viewing distance, those smoother less jaggy lines 'appear' sharper (to my eyes at least) even though they're not when you look closely at an...

Hardware The SUPER5 OLED screen mod for the Switch Lite uses a 1080p screen and stretches the Switch Lite's 720p signal to fit.

Alright I looked at the panels and tooks some pictures. Realistically, the Super5 OLED looks just like the original Lite in terms of sharpness, it'll be very hard to notice any difference at all while playing at a realistic distance from the panel. Upon closer inspection, the original Lite...

Hardware The SUPER5 OLED screen mod for the Switch Lite uses a 1080p screen and stretches the Switch Lite's 720p signal to fit.

I have a Super5 OLED on my Switch Lite...and I've been thinking the picture is extremely sharp compared to the original Lite and my Switch OLED...so I'm shocked to see this. Now the question is...do I want to not check and say 'ignorance is bliss' and enjoy my Super5 OLED...or do I pull out my...

Homebrew RELEASE Fizeau - Adjust color of your Switch screen

Thanks. New version is working well. One question, for the contrast adjustment, a change from the default value of 0.00 to -0.01 or +0.01 makes a HUGE difference in visuals, is that correct? It's like there's no room to make fine adjustments because 0.01 increment is a big change visually.
