    I've hit the same problem. Update 11.8 has left me with error "failed to apply 1 FIRM patch(es)." It's been a long time since I messed with the 2ds so I'm a little lost. Added the latest Luma.bin to root and now it boots, but no homebrew showing. Can still boot into Godmode9 and have...

    I bought this from Argos ebay store. Sold as refurbished. Is this going to be a dead end? I didn't pay a lot so it's not the end of the world. The community here does seem very active and helpful, I'd definitely look out for another one and have another go.

    I hope I have given you the right info. This is from an old 2ds. I have removed the SD card, opened the "Nintendo 3DS" folder and this is the name of the folder inside 552978309e5984dd6d99fe260798600c Inside this folder is another named daf800ba2010000753442020001d4144 Thanks for the efforts.
