    seems to randomly crash when I use 24/34 armor slots o.e. crashes around 2-3 min after activating.

    Gotta depend on luck at that point, you can try by going to gamestop and ask to buy preowned and check the firmware, but according to reddit post that I saw had the Monster Hunter Generation edition came with 10.7, source below...

    Did you press Y + DPAD UP? After doing so check your status from your start menu.
