    i thought the actual shell and everything on it was larger, could just be my mistake. i have the new xl but haven't seen the regular new 3ds to know for sure.

    would it be possible to use the internals of a n3ds LL on a N3dsXL case for expanded room inside it for hardmoding? I'm just curious as to all the things that could be done with that extra room if its even feasable.
