Same thing happened to me at 82 hours. Rip. Only clues I have is it happened right after using the mirror to change Alain's character appearance for the first time. Also, I started my playthrough on 1.00 and later upgraded to 1.03. This is anecdotal.
I assume the save is screwed beyond...
