    I've been out of the xbox scene for about 6 years now. I remember that even back then you couldn't play on live if your console was modded, but I see people acting shocked that they are getting banned these days. Has it ever been safe (for live play) for an extended period?

    Does the iomega drive not work at all, or just not with the loader? If it doesn't work at all: buy another one, swap the good one for the bad one, return the bad one with your new receipt.

    Hacking USB Loader GX

    Even with all of the fancy "cover flowing" loaders that have been released the past couple months, this one remains my favorite. Very kid friendly with the lockout, doesn't push the HBC on you, active developers. Great job guys.
