    I tested the terminal you mentioned, and it shows 900 ohms, no short. However, my battery is completely drained.

    This component is no longer in place, and this specific trace is damaged, so this analog stick would be missing the VCC on that axis. But would that affect the controller to the point where it doesn't power on or charge?
