Homebrew DS(i) NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

Hi guys. My Pokémon Black encrypted rom from Reddit keeps freezing with music playing, and idk what the issue is. I am using a fairly old Kingston micro SD card with adapter in my DSi XL, and an attached picture shows the results I got in H2testw, showing it has no errors. It was formatted to...

Hacking DSi GBA color correction filter.. any way??

Hi. Thank you! I'll try even though I only know the abc about this kind of stuff lol. I think you mistakenly put the link of "this part of the code" as "beta215" link's too..? Also, if trying Veanika's fork, do I only copy over Veanika's config folder into the _gba folder after deleting the...

Hacking DSi GBA color correction filter.. any way??

It works! Thanks again man :yaynds: 1734852814 Btw, I don’t mean to be nitpicky, but is there a way I can adjust the colors a little? I really like Retroarch’s color correction and Pokefan531’s shaders, and am hoping to get a similar image. I feel like green is muted a bit too much. In Pokémon...

Hacking DSi GBA color correction filter.. any way??

Nope, still the same default colors. I still had the GBAR3 startup screen. I also have GBAR2's .ini file in the _gba folder along with the bios, if that makes any difference 1734816945 Does it have anything to do with GBAR3 NTR and/or colorLUT? Idk anything about how to make them work though lol

Hacking DSi GBA color correction filter.. any way??

Hello. I searched online and maybe there is a way to use color correction setting right now through configs or something. But how do I do that? The GBA roms do start up with the GBAR3 screen. I try pressing the touch screen but nothing happens and there's nothing regarding that in TM++ settings...

    GBARunner3?

deleted 1734804844 I want to use GBARunner3's color correction like the Retroarch's core setting, for accurate colors. I don't understand anything about the NTR fork and all. Can anyone help me lol

Hacking GameYob Mavica’s color correction makes reds orangish instead of pinkish..?

So far, tried only on Pokemon TCG and yep. There's no red color anywhere that appears pinkish. Only a shade of orange

    GBARunner3?

I REALLY hope the beautiful Emerald Seaglass romhack becomes fully working on GBARunner3 in the future. Someone in Discord managed to make it run but there are issues like freezing in battle tent and RTC doesn't work.

Hacking GameYob Mavica’s color correction makes reds orangish instead of pinkish..?

In the original GameBoy screens, the red color appears pink/pinkish, but not here. Is this is a bug? If not, any other solution?

It worked! Thank you so much Not sure if it detected the bios. The GB palette and select palette options are grayed out. But I'm gonna try to make them work Edit: unless I have to put custom palettes myself first

Hacking DSi GBA color correction filter.. any way??

GBAR3 having that feature is really great to hear! thanks a lot. I hope it’ll be accurate, like Retroarch’s option and Pokefan531’s shaders. Also, sorry for bringing this up right now. You tried helping me yesterday in fixing the Gameyob mavica error. But nothing worked. I even turned off...

Hacking DSi GBA color correction filter.. any way??

There is a GBAR2 setting, in TM++ settings, that just darkens the color. So that’s not it. There’s another setting (I think under misc. settings in TM++ settings) that allows you to change color palette or something to AGS 001’s but whenever I run a GBA game, it reverts back to default colors...
