    I figured out if you change the item amount and uses to the same number as the variation you were trying to get with the item it will change to that color!

    Yeah I just noticed after I posted lol Sorry about that! I just figured out there was a new NHSE by your screenshot and downloaded it. I'll have to mess with it now and see if I can figure out our questions.

    Does anyone know if there is a way to use NHSE to edit colors of items in the game? Example being through my nook miles I can purchase a green streetlamp but if I wanted it to be white how would I do that? If it is not a feature is there a way someone knows how I could put in particular color...

    Okay then that might have been what corrupted my save, thank you! I didn't realize you couldn't do that. Although all the villagers I put in are working fine now and nothing seems to be acting up even though I pressed no.

    I wanted to add that I was editing my save file using this tutorial and I answered "Yes" to updating values when loading villagers and it ended up corrupting my save file and that's literally all I changed with my save data. I wanted to give a heads up to others. I luckily had an older save...
