    Success! Ha, I changed ios to 36 and then back to ios60 and no bgm works for me now too. Let's hope everything else got fixed too.

    I just tried a quick test of no bgm again and it does not work for me either. I'm thinking some just don't work like ether says.

    Same as you, 4.0U and I'm using the hacks.ini from that link I posted above. I will probably do some more testing later although I always use freethewads if I can't find ntsc so if that one doesn't work it won't really be a problem.

    Exactly like Meannekes said. Here: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=144835 Step 5. If you have preloader installed you will get 'system files corrupt..' so just boot to hbc and install preloader again.

    If you can access the hbc can't you just run cios downgrader to install a different system menu and then go from there.

    I'm not sure. I've tested the movable disc channel hack and the no bgm (I did not enable this though which is strange lol) and they work fine.

    No, I don't see a reason to downgrade from 4.0 and I've just upgraded from 3.2 today in fact. All you need is a cIOS though and you can choose which firmware you want. I personally would just use cIOS downgrader.

    NUSD sounds like the offline option aka a lot more work but if you don't have wireless it's a working solution. I've used cios downgrader before and any region changer, pretty simple.

    squablo: Installing starfall or preloader with hacks (skip disc update check) should work I believe. 4.0 is the latest afaik.

    LOL I apologize to everyone if you were annoyed. I used to spend a lot of time here at the forums answering the same old questions day after day on a different account and I'm very grateful there are people around willing to do the same for me today.

    Reinstalled preloader and everything is working again. Also, games launch from the sd card now. Thank You Guys

    I'm unsure how to change the IOS that the system menu uses. If everyone says its okay to reinstall preloader I will do that.
