    Installed twilight menu and discovered that my gba bios was wrongly named and in the wrong folder, yet, even with all being correct, gbarunner2 and 3 freeze after bios screen, except games that doesn't need the bios (found out that pokemon fire red, leaf green and mystery dungeon doesn't need it...
