    iEDGE not loading Japanese ROMs

Yeah, mine is also a DS Lite. If that matters, the MicroSD in my flashcard is a Kingston 8GB class 10. The filesystem is FAT32, no idea about cluster size, but I usually just use SD Card Formatter instead of Windows' built-in formatter.

    iEDGE not loading Japanese ROMs

Hmm, these are relatively old games, so it shouldn't be an AP issue. Just tested those ROMs (clean, verified against No-Intro database) on my iEDGE, and they both launch properly. Side note: my iEDGE is on Bootstrap v4, although I doubt that would affect game compatibility in any way, so it's...

New 3ds not turning on after battery polarity changed

This thread should have some useful information: https://gbatemp.net/threads/new-3ds-xl-fuse.416208/ I haven't read the whole thing thoroughly, but I think that people in there had some success in fixing that issue (if I recall correctly, it involved replacing one of daughter boards and probably...

    iEDGE not loading Japanese ROMs

Any specific titles that you've tried to launch? To my knowledge, there shouldn't be any troubles with Japanese ROMs on iEDGE. Some newer games do require to be AP-fixed first, though.

    Code.bin and exh.bin to elf?

See if this script works better for you, that's what I personally use for getting ELFs: https://github.com/NWPlayer123/ctr-elf2

Tutorial Get ANY OFFICIAL badges without other users' data

Perhaps it was one of the last added in rotation for the Western versions, but the Japanese version received them much earlier, even before the last app update got released (Badge Arcade itself was exclusive to Japan for a long time). Seems like you might be running an outdated version of GM9...

Tutorial Get ANY OFFICIAL badges without other users' data

Make sure you aren't skipping the "EXTRA" part of the tutorial that explains how to get badge data from Badge Arcade's update, because some older badges are not included in the SpotPass files. ----- So, the SpotPass server hasn't been shut down yet for some reason, and the downloadable badge...

    Badge arcade archive?

Sure, as long as you have NBA's latest update, either installed on your console or as a .cia file. :)

    Badge arcade archive?

Older badges are inside the Badge Arcade itself, not in downloadable packs. Check the spoiler in the aforementioned tutorial, the one that says "EXTRA: Getting badge data from the Nintendo Badge Arcade updates". That part will explain how to get that last archive from NBA's resources.

    Badge arcade archive?

Yeah, those are false positives. Those antiviruses probably don't like how the executable is packed, or something else like that that is similar to viruses. Also, majority of those who detect it seems to be some obscure antiviruses, while the most reputable and popular ones like Malwarebytes and...

    Badge arcade archive?

I think that's all of downloadable files, or at least all that I know of. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Either way, if you're only interested in badges themselves, then "alldata_v13x" dats is all you need for this tutorial; the Allbadge Tool will still work as long as the files are named properly (it expects them...

    Badge arcade archive?

Yes, the "data_v13x" files use the same URL as the "alldata_v13x" ones.

    Badge arcade archive?

The main URL and region codes are listed here: https://github.com/AntiMach/allbadge-tool?tab=readme-ov-file#3-download-the-badge-data Obviously, you have until April 8 to get the files before Nintendo shuts down SpotPass servers.

Import seeds FBI when servers offline?

https://github.com/metaboss/hydroseed This will split a seeddb.bin into individual seeds that can later be imported through FBI. Edit seedsources.txt to add a link to seeddb.bin (e.g. this one) and double-click hydroseed.exe; or just drag and drop an already downloaded seeddb.bin onto the app.

I use AKG K7XX headphones for daily use, but Meze 99 Classics when I want to *enjoy* the music

I mean built in sound on mobo's has gotten way better but still XP handled sound better and X-Fi was still better than onboard audio even to this day
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Hell not sure what was going on but for like a few weeks MP3's sounded muffled, some driver or Windows update fixed it. Thank god lol
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Oh boy Massdrop has $1100 IEMs. Want, but not at that price lmao. https://drop.com/buy/campfire-audio-andromeda-emerald-sea-iem
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'd sooner buy the Meze 109 Pro if I was dropping that much on headphones. I don't even like buds/IEMs
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I got the Google Pixel Pro buds, they're good enough for when I need portable audio. And some really cheap IEMs that Dankpods recommends, I think the KZ ZSN Pro
    +1
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I'd stick with cheapo Chinese $10 ones quality is actually becoming on pair with name brand since name Brand usually quads the price up anyway loose one bud that's another $200
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
My Pixel Pro buds shit the bed a month or two ago. My wireless charger (which they do support Qi charging) absolutely COOKED them. Caused some problem that caused the case to heat up to 180F+
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
They were like 9 months out of warranty but I hit up Google support anyway and told them how hot they were getting and they replaced them with new ones because they wanted these for failure analysis lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    lol wireless charging
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why I can't bring myself to even spend $100 on wireless earbuds
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it's a cool idea but damn
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Apparently the case has a problem with >15W wireless chargers. Google design fault, that one.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I could live with wireless charging if the damn standard case doesn't block connection
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    how is wireless charging possible?
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Dbz said everyone has raging energy senses

  • cearp @ cearp:
you mean generally, how does the concept work?
    +1
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Copper conducting electricity or something
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@Xdqwerty, power through a coil of wire causes an electromagnetic field to be generated. Another coil of wire can be set up to harness the power from that electromagnetic field and turn it into usable energy for charging a device
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Two good videos from ElectroBOOM that touch on the subject:
