    Yeah, I did a resistance check using the points closest to the two test pads (USB port pins) and everything checked out. What else should I check?

    So, I cracked open my Switch, turned it on, neither of the two pads were lifting at all, I checked everything out and it looks to be fine :\

    Wouldn't that kill it's USB functionality completely? USB devices DO work when the console is undocked, I've even been able to use a basic USB hub + USB keyboard in my testing (connected via A to C connector)

    Yeah I'll check it tomorrow, 3 AM now so sleep time :p I doubt that's the issue though as I quadruple checked everything in the following days of discovering this problem, but I will check again tomorrow and make sure I didn't miss anything

    I usually use Hekate, but since I can't launch other payloads from my PC or phone anymore, I changed back to the SX payload about 4 days ago so i at least have the ability to launch another separate payload. Edit: I did extensive testing with both

    Yeah I am sure it's asleep, certain devices like USB keyboards still work when not docked using a USB-A to C adapter, but docked is just a nogo. Tested on 2 diff docks. The wire I've used is 30 AWG

    Actually, the Steam Link has an ARM cpu and runs on Linux :) That'd probably be the best starting point IMO, although Steam does not have any games that would run on ARM, it would make for a neat little streaming device.
