    Can't you spoof it? 1778617582 I wouldn't update. 6.72 and 5.05 are the most stable firmware's. For most games released after 6.72 there is usually a backport for 5.05 and 6.72.

    Try a delid on both the cpu and rsx...I got an 8-10 degree reduction after the delid and now I'm at 59/60 cpu/rsx during game play with ambient room temperature of 70-75. Ambient room temp has a lot to do with the temps you are getting also. The higher the room temp the higher your figures...

    It's always best to cache it that way you can turn off the internet connection. I still have mine cached from Al-Azif in May 2023 6 months before his server went dark.

    The problem with the ps5 is there is no fpkg support for ps5 games and no backports similiar to what the ps4 has. So if you want to play newer games you have to continually update the firmware. For me, I'd rather stay on a lower firmware which is why my ps5 3.00 is still sitting in the closet...
