    hey man, i reopened it, and checked the chip again... my chip is this one.. http://chip.tut.su/=...1=CLK=MP268.jpg found on another site, that apparently this chip is another variation of a non-reset hk messiah 2 clone...

    thanks loads man... been looking on the internet, well some says to enter configuration menu of some modchip is by pressing o and triangle simultaneously when booting the ps2.. tried it several times, didnt work :( ..

    yeah, i tried several burnt movies, it did read all of them perfectly... the laser can't be dead, because it can read the movie dvd and original games as well... i dnt know exactly which chip i am using, but when i opened it up, on the chip was written M3.. i dnt think its the patch thing as...

    hello.. i've got a chip moded ps2.. used to play burnt games on it.. today, i've tried playing fifa 11 on it, didn't work, says "insert ps2 cd format disk".. tried other games which i used to play, didnt work.. tried a burnt dvd movie, worked fine, and tried an original dvd game, works...
