    Gaming Wii classic controller

If you really want a classic-style controller, then I recommend you get a GameCube controller. The feel is similar to the classic controller, but it has slightly less input lag than a wireless controller. (The classic controller is wireless because it plugs into the Wii Remote.) Although the...

Hardware Wii Bricked due to unknown reasons.

Does the Wii display anything on the TV or not? Some Possible Problems: Problem: The Bluetooth module is not seated properly. Solution: Take the Wii apart and carefully re-seat the connector. Problem: You removed the thermal paste (gray stuff) from on top of the Bluetooth module and it is...

Hardware Moving WBFS files to another HDD

Good point. However, if the drive might someday be used for general-purpose backups too, FAT32 can be a big headache if you need to split huge files such as dd images or Blu-ray iso backups. As with everything, it's a trade-off. I use one 128GB FAT32 SD card to play my games, and one giant 8TB...

Hardware How to extract models (szs) from .bin file?

I used 7-Zip to open it. For the audio, either it doesn't like the format of your replaced files, or it has some hardcoded values that only work with the original audio. Try double-checking that your format exactly matches theirs. (Channel Count, Bitrate, Bit Depth, etc.)

Hardware Moving WBFS files to another HDD

For playing backups on the Wii, exFAT is only supported by some loaders, such as Nintendont. FAT32 does have the best OS compatibility, but has a strict 4GB maximum file size, which isn't enough for some games. Large files need to be split, which is inconvenient and ugly. exFAT is the best...

Hardware Moving WBFS files to another HDD

NTFS is the best if you'll be using Windows exclusively. However, if you want to use a Mac or Linux, then exFAT is the most reliable on all of them.

Hacking Fat32 USB Flash Drive not visible on vWii

Try formatting it with WBFS Manager. Try FAT32, but if that doesn't work, try WBFS format. I have a flash drive that wouldn't work with my Wii until I switched to WBFS format, which was invented specifically for the Wii. (After all, the name stands for Wii Backup File System!)

Hardware Wiimote disconnecting when I point it to the sensor bar

As a workaround, you can use Priiloader to open the USB Loader using your GameCube controller.

Hardware How to extract models (szs) from .bin file?

That's curious. I see only two folders: "audio" and "movies" on the TrackMania disc. The only bin files I see ("sku.bin" and "vfs.bin") are way too small to hold 3D models. However, the "vfs.zip" file contains tons of models in the BRMDL format! You can open these with BrawlBox.

Hardware How to extract models (szs) from .bin file?

Not that I know of. What game are you extracting? I can easily make a video tutorial. (If I don't have the game, I'll make a .bin file that matches your description and use that.)

Hardware How to extract models (szs) from .bin file?

The game likely lumps multiple files into a .bin file and uses pre-programmed offsets to access each part. If there is indeed an SZS file inside, you can find it using a hex editor (I recommend HxD). Search for the 4 bytes 0x59617A30, which are "Yaz0" in ASCII. This is the beginning of an SZS...
