    I successfully downgraded to 4.5 sysnand :D Now question. If I had a copy of final fanstey and i tried to play online would it let me play online safely? Yep and I got it on firmware 9.2 sysnand as well now! thanks dude for all your help! seriously!

    Haha good thing I realised this from another guide haha. Ah ok, so 2.6 doesn't have dev mode hence why I need to use the 2.5 one (this is where i been stuck the entire time lol) then to get it to work I need to downgrade to 4.5 by gateway method then I can use devmode to install the sysupdater...

    Keep getting "read failed error=87(the parameter is incorrect)" I read like 25 pages. So I'm guessing win 8 doesn't support this tool??? So what can I do to create a emunand backup instead?

    Yeah the autoboot would be nice to stop my little brother from ever breaking the 3ds.     hmm I see. rxmode works and it seems my sysnand and emunand are unlinked. That good news. I guess I don't really need to do anything now. No point really updating from firmware 5.1 since I got the emunand updated right. l.
